Prior to 2017, the name stamped on the boxes of these cigars was Coronas, however, catalogues and official records refer to them as the Coronas Claro. Prior to 1995, they had the colour grade "Claro" stamped on their base, which distinguished them from the otherwise identically packaged Coronas Claro Claro.
Since 2017 the cigar has been named Coronas Claro on the box.
